The sun is the basis of life on earth; it is nature’s source of vital power.
The amount of the incoming solar radiation, or insolation, is frequently underestimated.
This source of energy ‘from heaven’ is provided to us at no charge and without limitation.
Even in our area, it provides us with 80 times more energy than we currently use in total. The average amount of global solar radiation ranges at about 1,000 kWh/m². This amount corresponds to 100 litres of oil or 100 m³ of natural gas per square metre of the earth’s surface. Solar technology makes us less dependant on the oil and gas price.
Everyone who purchases a solar energy system today actually invests in the future.
Using solar thermal energy is quite simple. Solar panels (collectors) on the roof collect solar heat and transfer it to a the domestic water or buffer tank over a pipe system. There, the collected energy is used to heat water and/or support the heating system. If required, e.g., in times of bad weather, a furnace, which is also connected to the system, is activated.
For such a system, it is important that all components are well suited to each other and also suit the individual needs of the building and its occupiers.
